Course Aims

This Course aims to give Trainees insights in the way employee/industrial relations plays a major role in helping an organization is to achieve a satisfactory employment relationship that helps to build stable and co-operative relationship with employees in such a way that they recognize that they are stakeholders in the organization and minimize conflict.

In this way it helps to achieve commitment through employees’ involvement and communication process, development mutuality, that is, a common interest in achieving the organization’s goal’s through the development of organizational cultures based on shared values between management and employees.  The course will also help Trainees to see how good industrial relations processes with trade unions helps build harmonious relationships with them on a partnership basis.

It is therefore with this in mind that CHRM, in its endeavor to equip the human resource with relevant skills at the workplace has seen it fit to introduce this Executive Certificate in Industrial Relations among its menu of programs to impart this very necessary skills and knowledge to targeted group of employees and others working in various sectors of the economy, e.g., SMEs, etc.  CHRM expects that with this training, it will play a major role in equipping this group of people both in the Private and Public sectors with competencies required to offer and discharge the right industrial/employee relations practices to create a harmonious work environment.

  • Negotiations & Mutual Agreements
  • Grievances & Dispute Handling Machinery
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Staff Discipline & Counseling
  • Employee Communication & Involvement
  • Overview of Labour Legislation

Total: 40 Hours

Training Cost: 35,000/-

Attendance Options

10 Half-Saturdays - 8.30 am – 1.00 pm

2 Weeks - 4 hrs per day @ 5 week days
